What it is
Yes. Personal trading accounts sit alongside your prop firm challenges and funded accounts, with their own balance history, deposits and withdrawals. The two are kept apart where it matters — capital is shown per arena, never lumped together.
It does not connect to your broker at all. You log trades yourself, which means TraderBalance never asks for a broker password, has no route to your account, and could not place, close or modify an order even if something went wrong.
It is firm-agnostic. You record the firm, the account size, the phase and the rules it is under, so FTMO, Topstep, FundingPips or one nobody has heard of are all the same shape to the app.
Neither, quite. It tracks the things a funded trader has to keep straight — which accounts are at which stage, what has been paid out, what it cost to get there — and it does the arithmetic on them. It is not trying to be your notebook or your tax return.
No. It does arithmetic on the records you enter: totals, net return, what is due. It never tells you what to trade, how much to risk or whether a plan is a good one.
No. TraderBalance runs in your web browser on a computer or phone, so there is nothing to download or update.
Your data and privacy
Only you. Every table is locked to your own account at the database level, so a request for another trader's records comes back empty. We never sell your data.
In London, UK. Our database and the website's servers both run there. The privacy notice lists every service we use and why.
Yes, at any time, from Settings. Deleting your account removes it and the records in it.
Yes. You can use Google or an email address and password. If you use a password, it is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form, so we never see it.
Accounts and money
US dollars, pounds sterling or euros. You pick one in Settings and everything is shown in it. TraderBalance does not convert between currencies, so changing the setting changes the label, not the amounts.
As expenses against your payouts. Fees, resets, activations and subscriptions all count, so the net figure is what your payouts came to after the cost of getting there.
Yes. The Reports page gives income, costs and net for any period, by month, account and firm, as a CSV download or a printable PDF.
